Menu Design for a local Indian restaurant.

For the DMA120 Graphic Design and Adobe InDesign course at Central Arizona College, we were tasked to create a menu design for a local restaurant of our choice. I chose Biryani Pot, an Indian restaurant located in Chandler, Arizona.

The look of the menu is elegant, and the colors chosen are meant to be warm and inviting to mirror the feeling Biryani Pot's food brings. Illustrations of spices and herbs make up a texture for the background, and the fonts chosen include a handwritten script font and a serif font, both of which were chosen because of their elegance and simplicity. The images included are minimal so as not to overcrowd the page, but to also give pops of color throughout the menu to showcase the many vibrant colors that can be found in Indian cuisine.
